dear autumn

dear autumn, i am glad you are here... i do love the shades of the trees which you silently paint over the tree leaves... the way the air is scented with hint of falling leaves, damp earth and mushrooms. i thank you for giving berries and mushrooms, which i can gather under the forest trees. it is a joy to see the bird flocks, who search for seeds and berries and twitters joyfully while doing this. i am waiting with an excitement if i see deer's again. would you send them to a nearby field, if it is just safe enough for them?

i have been inspired by you and the beauty you create in nature, that i have made few jewelries, which can be worn when walking in the autumn woods.

  1. Beautiful... thanks. Your flowers look so lush. Here, we have had such a drought that all the garden is suffering.

  2. Beautiful pictures, Delila. Hope you are well. We are settling in to Autumn here in Sussex - my cats are enjoying playing in the fallen leaves. Karen x

  3. Hello Delila,
Lovely post as always . Autumn seems to have arrived so quickly this year. It is raining so hard today, the sea is covering the shore with a very high tide, no walks today. A good day to be cosy and draw.
I am pleased to hear your news. It looks like a beautiful garden, I found it and read about it and saw the photographs. You must be excited and happy.
    Keep in touch. Eileenx
