i arrived in Southampton on Friday, where my sister lives. yesterday we spend the whole day in Winchester, where i have wanted to visit for such a long time because Jane Austen lived in there. at this time we did not visited in the Chawton where Jane lived in a countryside, but instead i was able to see the house where Jane Austen lived her last days. it felt little surreal to be in front of the house where Jane had lived, to imagine how she entered through that door so long time ago, imagine the visitors she had. i wished i would have been able to go back in time, knock on that door and have a afternoon tea with dear Jane.
