spring day in Porvoo

i had a lovely visit in Porvoo on last Friday. I met one of my dearest friends there. We decided to take a walk in parts of the old town we have not seen before. There is so much to see in this town, places still which i want to see... this place is an inspiration and place for dreaming. i took glimpses in other people gardens, peeking through the gates. there is about 32 photographs in this post, i wanted to take them especially for you who liked to see my other photos, which i took on my trips to Porvoo before.

this is an restaurant, where you can order snails...
not my cup of tea, but the building is beautiful.

i took this photo for an inspiration for a simple potting table and the wooden ladders are very lovely also,
i could imagine hanging on it pots of herbs and violets with a wire.

now that i look at this photo the stones with moss between them looks inspiring also, something
for the garden perhaps.

this is one of the places i have visited every time in Porvoo,
a lovely shop filled with tea and special treats.

i do looove this house!!! a place of dreams...

  2. Oh. Its all so wonderful, the yellow and red houses. So solid looking and with so much green. Sping is everywhere there! Even in the color of the houses. ,))
And looking at the pictures, it just feels as if it would be quiet and peaceful there. Thank you for posting all the beauty Delila!

  6. AUTUMN IS THE BEST!! The smell of apple pie in the oven, the vibrant colors of the fall leaves, cinnamon, orange & clove, pumpkin picking, warm apple cider, pumpkin muffins (delish!), watching a movie snuggled in an afghan, caramel apples, warm cozy socks, bowl of chicken soup, wind blowing through the leaves, cozy sweaters, boot, curling up in bed under a warm comforter with window cracked and feeling a chill, glowing lights through windows. Autum---so very cozy!!!
